St Thomas’ – an acute-care site with beds as well as the bed Evelina Children’s Hospital. The Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has approximately one million patient contacts per year. Each year there are approximately , visits to the adult emergency department to the children’s emergency department. The psychiatrists and therapists of Jefferson's Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior provide services to Hospital patients. In addition, we focus special attention on the consultation and treatment of the most common psychiatric problems of anxiety, depression, insomnia, substance abuse, eating disorders and sleep disorders.
